We are seeking a passionate and creative Technical Talent Recruiter to help source, screen, and bring top talent to our growing organization. The ideal candidate has experience with high-volume recruitment, preferably with startups in the medtech/biotech space.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers, serving as a trusted advisor on all aspects of talent acquisition. You will be instrumental in building and refining the recruitment function and processes while staying attuned to the evolving candidate market. Your responsibilities will include drafting job postings, pre screening candidates, and managing the interview process. You will take full ownership of the recruiting process, providing weekly updates to managers on the status of open positions and ensuring an exceptional experience for all candidates. Additionally, you will offer strategic insights to enhance recruitment strategies and drive continuous improvement in our talent acquisition efforts.
The Role
Specialize in Talent Sourcing: Actively search for potential candidates through various sourcing channels such as LinkedIn, job boards, and other social media platforms to build a robust talent pipeline
Develop Recruitment Plans: Create comprehensive recruitment plans that align with the company's growth objectives and workforce planning needs. This includes identifying critical roles, forecasting hiring needs, and setting timelines and budgets for recruitment activities.
Collaborate with Hiring Teams: Partner with the business to gain a comprehensive understanding of immediate and future hiring needs, aiding in the refinement of job descriptions and scorecards to match potential candidates more effectively
Initial Candidate Screening: Execute preliminary screenings of candidates’ resumes and profiles to assess alignment with the job role and organizational needs before advancing them through the hiring process
Coordinate Interviews: Schedule and manage interviews between candidates and hiring teams to ensure a seamless, efficient, and timely process
Candidate Experience: Provide an exceptional candidate experience by ensuring a professional and responsive communication process, from initial outreach to post-interview feedback
Talent Pooling for Future Growth: Proactively identify and engage talent for critical roles, establishing a pipeline of qualified candidates in preparation for future organizational growth
Recommend Process Improvements: Continually assess and suggest enhancements to the sourcing and initial screening strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Analytics and Reporting: Provide regular updates to the leadership team regarding sourcing metrics, such as the number of candidates in the pipeline, quality of candidate pool, and effectiveness of sourcing channels
The Requirements
A genuine passion for creating an exceptional candidate experience, with a strong emphasis on timely communication and a sense of urgency to move quickly and efficiently throughout the hiring process
A proven track record for bringing in top talent and an expansive network of contacts
Minimum of 6 years' experience in outbound recruiting is mandatory, specifically within the start-up medtech/biotech sector
Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
A creative mindset that actively seeks out innovative sourcing techniques to enhance the recruitment process
