We are looking for a talented and experienced Controller to join their team. This role will involve managing all financial operations, including accounting and budgeting, for the school. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in finance and accounting, strong leadership abilities, and a deep commitment to education.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls.
  • Supervise accounting staff and provide training and support as needed.
  • Coordinate annual financial audits and tax filings.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Monitor cash flow and investment activities to optimize financial performance.
  • Stay current on financial trends and best practices in the education sector.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a public or educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of public finance, government accounting, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
